Description.

The covering dye is used on previously dusted and cleaned leather.

Shake the bottle well before opening. To color a specific area, apply the dye in small touches with the brush on the damaged part of the leather to restore its beautiful appearance. To restore color to the total surface of the leather, be sure to use the sponge in order to obtain an even result. Let dry after application. If you are not satisfied with the result obtained, repeat the operation.

We advise you to continue with a complete maintenance of the leather using a cream and a shoe polish in order to protect your leather.

Good product

This product is easy to apply with the sponge or brush provided, it is odorless, does not stain, and dries quickly. It is a lightly colored varnish, perfect for hiding small defects and renovating. I damaged my repettos by applying a waterproofing spray too close. (Never closer than 20 cm!) After several coats of tinted varnish (a little more than half of the small 30 ml bottle) they are wearable again. Maybe not like new _ because I'm not very good at detailed work _ but you don't realize that they have been renovated. The more product you put, the darker the color. My shoes are now more bronze than their original rose gold color, but the result is still quite nice.

Easy to use

Transparent dyeing. Very easy to use with the brush for corners and the sponge for large areas and to create a smooth effect. Dries fairly quickly (time not indicated on the box but I would say 30 to 60 minutes). I used this dye for a rose gold handbag which was very worn, the effect is perfect (I applied 3 coats to the very worn areas). Also used in 2 layers for brown sandal straps, the result is perfect, the sandals are now golden brown. The dye has little coverage but it suits me perfectly.
