How to use this product.

Before using the product on the entire surface of your leather, make sure you have stripped it first, we also advise you to do a first test on a hidden area to make sure of the color following the reaction.

The navy blue Teinture Francaise shoe dye comes in a large bottle as an economical choice for colouring leather furniture, clothing or accessories. When mixed with the 500ml Saphir base blue dye and other dyes, a world of possibilities opens up for personalising your leather items. You can create your very own patina to imitate the effects of time on a leather colour. This is truly a flagship product that has been used and recommended by shoemakers for years.

For best results, always use the Teinture Francaise leather dye only on leather that has been cleaned or that has had its colour removed to prevent dust particles from getting trapped into the leather during the dyeing process. Use the dye in a well-ventilated area and cover your clothing as well as any valuable objects to prevent them from getting stained. You may wish to use this dye to occasionally touch up worn out areas where the leather has been scuffed or exposed. Treating small, specific spots will restore the original look of the leather.
