How to use this product.
Before using the product on the entire surface of your leather, make sure you have stripped it first, we also advise you to do a first test on a hidden area to make sure of the color following the reaction.
Once you are satisfied with the result, apply a first coat of stain evenly, then let it dry for at least an hour before you can have a true idea of the final result.
You can apply several more coats to get the result you want. We advise you to finish the patina with a complete maintenance of the leather in order to protect it.

Good product and fast delivery
Used on a light beige suede base. No doubt very good on a white base, here I am rather disappointed. You need at least two coats of product (I let it dry overnight between each application). At first it looks good, but once dry you barely see the color. With several passes the color is more visible but has a slightly green undertone...
matches my order
Hello everyone. I'm not a fan of dyeing leather by finding "THE" right color the first time by mixing (because Saphir dyes are perfectly mixable with each other). I prefer the layering technique, longer and sometimes risky but much more fun, let me explain; dyes work like colored “filters” which by superimposing them give you a shade (a blue base over a yellow base will give you green for example). Personally I very regularly use yellow from Saphir as a very first base even if the end result that I have in mind is a dress in a rather dark color. For a very simple reason: it gives light, warmth to the final shade (for example dyeing a pair in burgundy, you will notice that your burgundy "dress" will be much more interesting with a yellow base instead of using directly burgundy). But if I have one piece of advice to give you, don't be too "calculative" about the shade you want to give to the shoes, of course you have to keep "a course" but let yourself be pleasantly surprised by the results of successive superpositions of shades and above all do not be "afraid" in an application even if not uniform (much more interesting to obtain these pretty "marbled" or "vintage" effects rather than a uniform and boring dress). If you are afraid (which seems normal at first), use the "neutral thinner" from Saphir in order to soften the color and its effects, this process will allow you a more gradual application and allows you to increase the number of layers and thus have a little better control over your final result. Hope my observations can help you.
very good product and fulfilled its function
This very light dye is surely more effective on a white surface. I used it on fluorescent green, it had no effect.
Dear customer, this yellow base is mainly used for mixing. Depending on your support, each shade will behave differently.

Easy to install. I used it to color shoes but after a few weeks of use I had to reapply because the color was missing in places. I don't know if this is due to the product or the preparation of the support. ...
